The name “Nexui” is latin and is an inflection of the word Nexus which means to bind, fasten, connected or interwoven (WordSense / Dictionary). The name was chosen as the company works closely with strategic partners to provide end-to-end business solutions and therefore its underpinning philosophy is to provide its clients with both novel and contemporary solutions and experiences. Service is our hallmark and creating new synergies between our partners and clients is critical to our brand and expanding our network capacity.
William Grant
Founder and Director
Passionate about working with clients to achieve their goals through rigorous research, analysis, and market and internal data testing. Believes value creation is achieved through a clear vision and a strong front-end strategy. Timeliness, honesty, communication and responsiveness is our hallmark
As the Director of Business Consulting Services, William advises clients with start-up business plans, restructuring of strategic and operational matters for small businesses. Over the last 20 years, he has worked in a wide range of corporate institutions in the banking, insurance brokerage, credit unions and construction industry. During his tenure in those industries, he assisted a myriad of clients with financing new business ventures, operational restructuring, financial risk modelling and provided financial oversight for construction projects.
William served as a Chairman and director on the Board of Directors for the Barbados Conference Services Limited. In addition to his work experience, he was also a part-time tutor in the Division of Commerce at the Barbados Community College and conducted courses and workshops in credit risk consumer and small business lending, delinquency & collections management for the Barbados Credit Union League, Light & Power Credit Union Ltd and others.
William holds an MBA from Durham University (London) and a Diploma in Management from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados.
Bibi Raffia McWilfred
Co-Founder and Director
Mrs. McWilfred is a self-made entrepreneur who in 2001, established Halaal Meats, a wholesale and retail Meat Centre in Bartica Guyana, and within 4 years, grew to be the largest meat centre. She eventually migrated to being a co-founder of McWilfred Mining and operating a successful medium-scale gold mining business. There, she was responsible for Finance and Sales, as well as, Procurement and Supplies services. During that period, Mrs. McWilfred developed competencies in logistics, operations and managing a mining company.
Her strength lies in her vast business network and her ability to bring together resources, to not only provide effective solutions, but to create new business opportunities and ventures. Mrs. Raffia McWilfred is also knowledgeable and experienced in Real Estate and has developed strategic partnerships with a cadre of professionals in the areas of surveying, architecture and contracting.
